Job Role: Salesforce Developer

Location: Luton/Flexible

Job Sector: IT

Hours:  35 hours per week

As the Salesforce Developer, you will contribute to our vision of being the favourite residential property manager, as recognised by others by:

  • Building strong and capable solutions on the Salesforce platform
  • Driving best of breed of breed behaviours to the on-going use of the Salesforce platform
  • Focussing on security and privacy, protecting our customer information but using it to provide the best customer experience possible in all your solutions.

This role reports to the DevOps Manager.

About You:

You have a proven track record of successful delivery of Salesforce projects, ServiceCloud essential, SalesCloud and Marketing Cloud is ideal, and have 3+ years experience in a similar role.
 
Being a natural problem-solver, and have a configure-first and re-use before build, and an analytical mindset.
 
You are highly experienced in modern API platforms (Mulesoft preferred), REST, SOAP, JSO, XML etc, as well as knowledge of Agile software development.
 
As a motivated self-starter, you are adept at picking up new skills and technologies, and eager to break new ground.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out development of solutions, applications, and enhancements to the Salesforce platform, ServiceCloud, MarketingCloud and SalesCloud
  • Perform technical analysis, design, configuration, and support for system integrations and Salesforce customizations
  • Develop custom applications and code (Visualforce, Components, Apex Controller, Trigger, Callouts).
  • Build, tests, analyses, and implements high quality code according to specifications
  • Provides support for Salesforce applications and manage escalations
  • Define and monitor compliance with code check-in, backup/recovery, and versioning processes
