Job Role:        Maintenance Operative

Location:       Redhill, Surrey

Salary:           £9.40 per hour

Hours:            7am – 4pm (this is a temporary position for Friday 19th and Tuesday 23rd – Friday 26th October 2018)

 

As the Maintenance Operative you will contribute to our vision of being the leading residential property manager, as recognised by others by:

 

  • Undertaking all minor maintenance around the Development

  • Achieving high standards of performance within a team of individuals to help create a welcoming, friendly and courteous environment within the development.

  • Providing a safe, secure and well maintained environment to customers

     

This role reports to the Development Manager.

 

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Daily visible check and works planned and conditions report to be compiled across the entire estate

  • Ensure tidiness of development is maintained - clean water features of all litter and leaves, clean out all bin store areas, sweep all hard surfaces including footpaths and all car-parking areas etc.

  • Maintain all equipment and storage facilities keeping them in good working order

  • Carry out any other instructions/minor repairs as directed by the Development manager

  • Conducting weekly fire alarm tests and ensure they are logged correctly

  • Management of the refuse removal strategy at the development

  • Follow C.O.S.H.H regulations, in particular the storage of hazardous substances

 

 

Skills and Experience

 

  • Basic painting and decorating experience

  • General repairs and maintenance experience

  • Knowledge of health and safety practices

  • Exceptional communicator

  • Attention to detail
