Job Role:  Finance Analyst  

Location: New Milton   

Job Sector: Finance  

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience 

Hours: 35 hours per week

As a Finance Analyst you will contribute to our vision of being the leading residential property manager, as recognised by othersby:

  • This role reports to the Finance Manager – Retirement

About You

You are a fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with excellent accounting knowledge and first-hand experience of working in an accounting environment, and are seeking a new role in a fast paced environment to develop your career.

Having strong analytical, communication and MS Office skills, means you can deliver analysis with a clear focus, accurately and with an excellent attention to detail.

Being a real problem solver, means you can now play a pivotal role and be an expert in driving continuous improvement with our processes, and are able to respond to complex issues.

You thrive in a high pressure environment, and are organised to work to deadlines.

Main Responsibilities

• Review development financial transactions on a monthly basis taking a proactive approach to solving issues by working with Scheme Accountants to provide leading customer service.

• Analyse and review the Development Income & Expenditure Account and Balance Sheet to ensure accuracy and completion to set deadlines.

• Identify and escalate accounting and commercial issues at an early stage to ensure compliance, transparency and a high level of customer service.

• Identify and implement financial controls to enhance accurate financial statements.

• Meet operational Management regularly to review the financial statements for their developments ensuring finances are in a healthy position. Some travel to meetings and developments would be required.

• Provide leading financial support to the operational management team to ensure focus on achieving set objectives

• Compile Asset Management Plans for developments as required.

• Assist with the accurate calculation of Management Fees and monitor their accounting and collection.
